In addition Consilium will install, support & manage your backups for you without any large upfront cost. We simply charge a small on-going maintenance fee in addition to the licence.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Mozy Pro is a simple installation on each server that you want included in your Online Server Backup. Once installed account management and configuration is carried out via a secure web based portal which we can configure and monitor for you.
Once the initial configuration and initial backup are complete (either online or by courier – see below) Mozy Pro will only backup incremental changes to your data making it quicker and requiring less internet bandwidth.
Mozy Pro gives you the very granular control over your backup. You can set policies on bandwidth usage, backup speeds, create custom backup sets or even define what file types should be backed up.
Mozy Pro backs up all open and locked files, including Outlook PST files. Version (snapshot) support is included allowing you to restore file versions up to 30 days in the past.
There is also support for Microsoft SQL Server®, Microsoft Exchange, and network drives, allowing Mozy to backup common business applications running on Windows servers.
WON’T IT TAKE TOO LONG TO UPLOAD MY DATA?
With some Online Server Backup vendors this can be an issue, where initial backups can take weeks to complete. With Mozy Pro we can offer a unique service called data seeding. If you have over 100Gb of data we will despatch a secure backup unit by courier to your office to take an initial fully encrypted backup. You then simply send the device back to their secure data centre. Thereafter it’s only the incremental changes to your data that is uploaded.
For customers with less than 100Gb of data we find that current broadband speeds allow us to take a gradual approach. We prioritise the most important data first to keep your data safe, and allow the rest to synchronise securely over your internet connection.

All user data is encrypted before it leaves your computer with military-grade encryption prior to transfer via a secure SSL connection to Mozy’s state-of-the-art data centre usually in Dublin or elsewhere around the world. These centres employ the highest security standards, and are SSAE 16 audited and ISO certified.
